About the Position:
We are looking for a Web Development Trainee who has foundation knowledge of how to build web applications including implementing, testing and integrating with 3rd party APIs.
Our Web Development Trainee program is a 4-6 months program to train a Junior Web Developer to become a professional Web Developer in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Once a trainee has successfully completed the program, they are eligible to work as a full time Associate Software Developer for Internet Brands/WebMD.
Developer's Responsibility:
- Develop compelling and engaging web applications for all types of users.
- Develop, review, and improve software so that it delivers a flawless, reliable, and consistent user experience.
- Work closely with a diverse team that includes software developers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and manual and automated quality assurance engineers.
- Practice a learning mindset, soliciting and leveraging feedback to grow and thrive while helping to improve processes, practices, and our use of industry leading technologies.

Your Skills and Experience:
- English: Upper Intermediate English B2 skills equivalent to IELTS 5.5+, TOEIC 500+
- Languages: experience in any of the following languages:.NET, NodeJS, Java, PHP
- Framework: experience with Object-Oriented Programming, MVC.
- Database: experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Platform: experiene with Continuous Integration/Deployment
- Git: including management of remotes, branching/merging, and rebasing
Bonus:
- Experience with Front End web technologies such as Javascript, React, Angular.
