We are seeking an experienced
Warehouse Process Engineer to lead and drive manufacturing excellence through process optimization, continuous improvement, and innovation, delivering tangible results in productivity, cost efficiency, and quality performance:
- Process Design & Optimization
- Lead the end-to-end design and re-engineering of warehouse processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, outbound).
- Analyze current workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and implement optimized process flows, layouts, and operating models to improve productivity and throughput.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives with measurable impact on KPIs (productivity, accuracy, lead time, cost).
- Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure version control and compliance.
- Benchmark internal processes against industry best practices and recommend improvements.
- Define and monitor warehouse performance metrics (e.g., pick rate, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, OTIF).
- Build and maintain data dashboards and reports to track process effectiveness.
- Use data analytics to identify trends and drive fact-based decision making.
- Warehouse Systems & Digitalization
- Collaborate with Digital teams to design, implement, and enhance Digital functionalities.
- Lead process alignment during system upgrades, automation projects, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure all processes are fully system-integrated, standardized, and auditable.
- Evaluate and introduce automation technologies (e.g., conveyors, AMR).
Job requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistic/Supply chain Management, or related fields.
Technical Skill
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate etc.)
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio)
Key Competencies
- Strong expertise in Lean tools (VSM, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, Six Sigma basic knowledge).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Project management capability (planning, execution, stakeholder management).
- Ability to lead initiatives and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain process improvement.
- Proven experience in process design, optimization, and continuous improvement projects.
- Strong exposure to WMS (Warehouse Management System), warehouse automation, and digital tools.
