Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Planning for Tools, Equipment, and Machinery
- Develop demand planning logic and forecasting models for warehouse tools, equipment, and operational machinery.
- Analyze operational data, productivity metrics, and other influencing factors to optimize equipment investment and utilization.
- Regularly review, update, and enhance demand planning models to ensure operational requirements are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
2. Cost Control
- Review and evaluate the necessity and reasonableness of procurement requests for tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Monitor budgets, control expenditures, and ensure all investments align with approved financial plans.
- Support cost optimization initiatives by evaluating investment effectiveness and identifying opportunities for savings.
3. Tools, Equipment, and Machinery Projects
- Lead and execute projects related to the implementation, improvement, and standardization of tools, equipment, and machinery across warehouse operations.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve operational productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in demand planning, data analysis, or developing analytical models to support operational and business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience in project planning and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong cost awareness, including budget management and investment evaluation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Proactive, accountable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Logistics, E-commerce, or Warehouse Operations is a plus.
- Experience leading productivity improvement, automation, or equipment investment projects is an advantage.
