Job Description
Ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling, storage, and issuance of yarn materials in compliance with internal procedures and FOB manufacturing requirements.
a. Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily operations of the yarn warehouse including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing yarn to production.
- Maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and ensure no expired/damaged materials are used.
b. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and production departments to ensure material availability.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile physical vs. system data.
c. Team Management
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety and 5S standards.
d. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with production, QA, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Generate regular reports on stock status, material movement, and warehouse performance.
Job Requirement
- College degree or above in logistics, supply chain, or related fields
- At least 35 years of warehouse experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role
- Experience managing yarn warehouse in FOB garment/textile factories is required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiar with WMS or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Good at English (both verbal & written)
- Working in factory warehouse environment with shift work if required
