They are currently expanding their Southeast Asian presence to lead complex, large-scale mandates across the region.
Job Vacancy: VP M&A and Project Finance
Reporting line: Managing Director, APAC
Accountabilities:
- Transaction Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of both M&A transactions and complex Project Finance debt structuring for infrastructure assets.
- Regional Market Development: Drive business growth and manage mandates across Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand.
- Team Management: Serve as the critical bridge between senior leadership and the execution team, directly managing and mentoring Analysts and Associates.
- Strategic Expansion: Support the newly created regional mandate to capitalize on recent global strategic partnerships and expand into new markets, including Australia.
- Sector Specialization: Provide deep technical expertise and advisory in the Energy Transition and Digital Infrastructure sectors.
Who you are:
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience within a Tier-1 Investment Bank, specialized Infrastructure boutique, or Big 4 Lead Advisory firm.
- Technical Mastery: Demonstrated success in leading both M&A execution and the debt structuring of complex Project Finance transactions.
- Regional Expertise: Deep knowledge of Southeast Asian markets (Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand) and/or Australia; ability to navigate local regulatory challenges.
- Leadership DNA: Experience in managing and mentoring junior teams (Analysts/Associates) while remaining hands-on with deal execution.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A high level of autonomy and the ability to thrive in a flat, fast-paced environment with limited hierarchy.
- Global Mobility: Open to local talent and highly qualified expats who are keen to relocate to Vietnam or other key Asian hubs.
- Sector Passion: Strong interest and background in Infrastructure, specifically in Energy Transition and Digital Infrastructure assets.
