  • Work Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Workplace Location: Capital Palace, 29 Lieu Giai, Ngoc Khanh, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi

Responsibilities:

  • Retail Licensing & Regulatory Compliance:
  • Lead the application, amendment, and maintenance of all necessary licenses for Foreign-Invested Enterprises (FIE) in Vietnam.
  • Direct responsibility for obtaining Retail Licenses and managing the establishment of retail outlets (including ENT processes).
  • Ensure day-to-day retail compliance, including product labeling, consumer protection, and sales promotion registrations.
  • FDI Compliance & Reporting:
  • Manage the maintenance of Investment Registration Certificates (IRC) and Enterprise Registration Certificates (ERC).
  • Proactively handle FDI reporting and similar obligations to maintain FIE status in strict accordance with Compliance Guidelines.
  • Monitor changes in Vietnamese laws regarding market access and capital repatriation, providing actionable legal advice to the Group.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management (ASPA Focus):
  • Lead legal project management, specifically supporting the ongoing ASPA project, including asset transfers, store licensing transitions, and dispute/risk management.
  • Proactively engage with the business and liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive project milestones.
  • Team Leadership & Group Governance:
  • Manage and mentor the local legal team, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
  • Implement local procedures within the Group's Delegation of Authority (DoA).
  • Report directly to the Overseas Legal Headquarters to ensure alignment with global compliance strategies.
  • External Resource Management:
  • Select and manage external law firms to ensure cost-effective legal support for administrative approvals and disputes.

Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or higher; Qualified Lawyer in Vietnam.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of legal experience.
  • At least 3 years of specialized focus on FDI and retail compliance within a multinational corporation (MNC).
  • Proven Leadership: Previous experience as a Legal Manager or in a team management role is required.
  • Proven Track Record:Deep practical experience navigating Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) or Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) processes.
  • Language Skills:
  • English: High-level fluency (Mandatory) for drafting and reporting.
  • Mandarin Chinese: Highly Preferred (Bonus) for effective communication with Group HQ.
