Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join the Candid Skincare brand team at Skinetiq for a 6-month internship program. This opportunity is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are passionate about video editing, social media content, and visual storytelling, especially within the beauty and lifestyle industry.

As a Video Editor Intern, you will support the Marketing team in creating engaging and platform-driven video content for TikTok, Facebook, Shopee, and other digital channels. You will gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and content optimization while working closely with the Creative and Brand teams.

Responsibilities

•        Assist in editing video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and promotional materials.

•        Support video shooting sessions, including basic setup for lighting, framing, and audio recording.

•        Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Facebook Reels, and Shopee Video following current platform trends and brand guidelines.

•        Work on product-focused videos to showcase skincare products with visually appealing and high-quality content.

•        Assist in editing KOL and influencer video assets for social media platforms.

•        Add subtitles, transitions, music, basic effects, and motion graphics to improve video engagement.

•        Collaborate with the Content Marketing Executive, Designer, and Brand Team to develop creative video ideas and storytelling concepts.

•        Ensure all video deliverables are aligned with campaign objectives and delivered on time.

•        Stay updated on the latest social media trends, editing styles, and video formats to contribute fresh content ideas. 

Qualifications & Skills

•        Final-year student or fresh graduate in Multimedia, Marketing, Communications, Design, or related fields.

•        Basic experience in video editing through internships, freelance projects, university assignments, or personal content creation.

•        Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.

•        Basic understanding of video composition, storytelling, lighting, and visual aesthetics.

•        Passion for social media content creation, especially TikTok and Facebook Reels.

•        Creative mindset with attention to detail and willingness to learn.

•        Good communication and teamwork skills with a proactive attitude.

•        Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

•        Interest in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle content is a plus.
