Conservation Vietnam, established on 3 November 2021, is a Vietnamese Foundation based on a decision by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The foundation addresses the challenge of maintaining Vietnam&aposs unique biodiversity by providing financial and capacity support to local organizations. Through an endowment fund, Conservation Vietnam offers grants to support conservation activities. Developed by leading conservationists and major private sector investors, the organization aims to live in harmony with nature, ensuring that both people and the planet thrive together.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Office Executive located in the Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area. The intern will play a key role in producing compelling video content to support our conservation campaigns, educational initiatives, and fundraising efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production while contributing to meaningful environmental causes.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, websites, and presentations, ensuring alignment with Conservation Vietnams mission and brand.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop storyboards and creative concepts for video projects.
- Incorporate graphics, text overlays, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality and engagement.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms (Website, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Assist in organizing and managing video assets and archives.
- Support on-location shoots, when feasible, to capture footage or assist with production tasks.
- Stay updated on video editing trends and tools to improve content quality.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program in film, media, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in video editing softwares.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation tools is a plus.
- Strong storytelling skills and an eye for visual composition.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for conservation, environmental issues, or non-profit work is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and video optimization techniques.
- Fluency in English and/or Vietnamese is preferred.
