Job Description

Arrowster is an AI-powered study abroad platform built by a team from Harvard and Oxford, backed by operators from OpenAI and Duolingo. We've gone from zero to $1M+ in booked revenue and 15M+ monthly content views and video is about to become our biggest channel. We need someone who doesn't just make videos, but builds a system that makes hits repeatable. We operate fast, hands-on, and execution-first.

About the role

You'll own Arrowster's entire video content operation across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook from platform strategy to creator management to performance analysis. You'll manage 1315 UGC creators at any given time: hiring them, directing their content, diagnosing what's working and what's not, and building playbooks that turn one-off wins into repeatable formats. If you can also script and produce benchmark content yourself, even better.

What you'll own

  • Video strategy across all platforms: TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook you design the approach for each platform, not copy-paste the same content everywhere
  • Creator pipeline: you're constantly sourcing, onboarding, and performance-reviewing UGC creators 1315 active at any given time
  • Creative direction: you decide the hooks, formats, pacing, and angles then diagnose drop-offs and A/B test variables until the numbers move
  • Playbook building: every winning format gets documented, every failed hypothesis gets logged you're building a system, not relying on luck
  • Views KPI: you own the number not just the creative output
  • GTM integration: your video content maps to the customer journey (awareness consideration conversion), not just vanity metrics

Who you are

  • 13 years of experience however, portfolio and track record matter more than years
  • You have exceptional content sense: you can watch a video and tell someone exactly why it works or doesn't hook timing, pacing, visual hierarchy, audience psychology
  • You've managed creators before not just briefed them once and hoped for the best, but actively directed, reviewed, and iterated on their output
  • You think in systems: you don't celebrate a viral hit without asking how do we do this again
  • Good to have: you can produce strong video content yourself, not just direct others

Not a fit if

  • You talk about viral luck instead of what actually makes content perform
  • You've never hired or managed creators you've only been one
  • Your experience is exclusively in fashion/beauty (too formulaic for what we need)
  • You can't point to specific videos you've made or fixed and explain what made them work

Work setup

100% onsite at The Hive Villa, Tho in, District 2, HCMC. We used to go seven days a week. Now we average 6 days a week to allow for flexibility but everyone here still works hard because they want to win, not because someone tells them to.
