ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a coffee-fetching internship, and definitely not for the fainted heart. As a Venture & Corporate Development Intern (CEO Office), you will work directly with the Founder/CEO on two critical workstreams:
- Capital Strategy seed round design, cap table scenarios, investor scouting, process and documentation.
- Strategic Partnerships & Pilot Execution especially our high-potential collaboration with global partners and other VCs/CVCs in Vietnam, Singapore, and the across APAC.
You'll be in the room where decisions are made: investor research, investment memos, monthly investor updates, data room, and pilot tracking. Expect a steep learning curve, lots of context, and real responsibility.
SCOPE OF WORK
A. Capital Strategy & Fundraising
- Support the CEO in designing and maintaining the cap table, scenario analysis for different investor mixes (VC, CVC, angels).
- Assist in preparation of fundraising materials:
- Credential / teaser decks, full pitch decks, one-pagers, data snapshots.
- Help structure and maintain the data room: financials, product docs, traction, legal docs.
- Conduct desktop research on comparable companies, market sizing, and valuation benchmarks in EdTech, HRTech, and Workforce Development.
B. Investor Research, Selection & Due Diligence Support
- Map and maintain a target list of investors (VC, CVC, angels, family offices) across Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, and beyond.
- Perform background research on potential investors: theses, portfolio, check size, typical ownership, and strategic fit.
- Support dealflow & pipeline tracking in CRM (or spreadsheets / Lark) including stages, next actions, and key notes.
- Assist in preparing briefing notes before investor meetings and follow-up summaries after each call.
C. Investor Relations & Communication
- Draft and help refine monthly investor / stakeholder updates: metrics, milestones, challenges, and upcoming priorities.
- Assist in creating and updating investor-facing materials (presentations, FAQs, deal memos, one-pagers).
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and basic documentation for investor calls, roadshows, demo sessions, and events.
D. Strategic Projects - Go Global Workstreams
- Support the CEO in structuring and tracking the CrowdWorks pilot and related partnership initiatives:
- Document milestones, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up tasks.
- Conduct market and partnership research for Japan, SEA, Australia and other priority markets including comparable platforms, potential enterprise clients, and ecosystem partners.
- Help develop internal memos and decision documents (e.g. pilot design, pricing scenarios, expansion hypotheses).
E. Operations & CEO Office Support
- Maintain organized documentation of all fundraising and partnership activities (CRM, spreadsheets, Notion/Lark).
- Support ad-hoc strategic and analytical tasks from competitor mapping to unit economics modelling (with guidance).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, and New Business Development interns/teams to collect data and insights needed for investor narratives.

- Comfortable with numbers, Excel/Sheets; able to break a fuzzy problem into steps.
- Communicate clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (and Vietnamese is a plus) especially in concise summaries and emails to senior stakeholders.
- Are detail-oriented & organized
- You enjoy clean spreadsheets, clear naming conventions, and tracking follow-ups.
- Have a bias for action
- You don't wait for perfect instructions; you propose options, ask smart questions, and move.
- Have a growth mindset
- Comfortable with ambiguity, hungry to learn, happy to iterate fast.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing (or recently graduated from) a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Solid skills in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Canva; familiarity with Lark / CRM tools is a plus.
- Strong interest in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or startup finance (e.g. involvement in finance clubs, case competitions, VC fellowships, startup projects).
- Able to commit at least 4 days per week for a minimum of 46 months.
