Overview:
The Vehicle Network Engineer plays a key role in defining, standardizing, and maintaining the in-vehicle communication network architecture across all ECUs and vehicle domains, including CAN and LIN networks. This position is responsible for ensuring communication consistency, compatibility, data integrity, and functional safety throughout the vehicle network system, providing a solid foundation for ECU integration and stable vehicle operation.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain vehicle network architecture, specifications, standards, and communication requirements.
- Develop and manage network packages including CAN Matrix, DBC, LDF files, Gateway Routing Tables, messages, and signals.
- Manage network functions such as Network Management (NM), E2E Protection, Gateway Communication, Bus Load Management, and communication security.
- Support Secure CAN/SecOC implementation and communication authentication mechanisms.
- Perform network validation, bus load analysis, communication timing assessment, and release management.
- Investigate communication issues, support root cause analysis, and provide technical guidance to ECU development teams.
- Collaborate with System, ECU, Diagnostics, Validation, Integration, and Project teams to ensure seamless vehicle communication integration.
Requirements
Required Skills
- CAN/CAN FD, LIN, CAN Matrix, DBC/LDF development
- Gateway Routing, CanNm, E2E Protection, Bus Load Analysis
- Secure Communication (SecOC), DoCAN
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR and automotive communication standards is preferred.
