Key Responsibility

  • Vehicle Engineering Inspection Lead Engineer works in a specific EE function across all vehicles development programs, working in both side of V-MODEL
  • Inspect and audit engineering documentations such as SOR, SPB, DVP, DFMEA and ECR, including the application of the learning database.
  • Assist Engineering Sign-Off Audit and capture learnings to be applied on next models.
  • Audit Engineering Documentation (SOR, DFMEA, Spec Book, ECR and DV plan).
  • Audit Test Report (DVPRs), make sure deviation and acceptance criteria regarding Specifications are well documented.
  • Audit PHC (Program Health Check) on Engineering Inspection deliverables.
  • Audit complex issues (Engineering) for the solution in all program life series.
  • Capture Learnings across model development and build phases to be applied cross model (continuous improvement) - Learning Database governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer / Software Engineering.
  • 10+ years experience in automotive or related industries.
  • D&R experience for electrical components / SW development (Manufacturing and Launch experience is desired) .
  • Experienced in Organized Problem Solving, finding root cause and application of Containment and Permanent Solution.
  • Knowledge of the CAN, LIN and UDS protocols .
  • Basic knowledge of the FMEA, Spec Book, Design Validation, Engineering Change processes.
  • User level knowledge of Teamcenter.
  • User level knowledge of Atlassian Jira desired.
  • Independent expert: Can do tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Decision Maker: Capability to understand completeness of issue investigations, determine if potential issues are contained and protect the customers.
  • Knowledge to integrate different Vehicle parts to meet the design standards and specifications.
  • Results oriented approach.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach.
  • Communications: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels in business.
