Description
- Advise on federal tax regulations impacting goods imported into the US.
- Conduct research on state tax requirements relevant to distribution, resale, or warehousing.
- Provide summaries of compliance updates, risks, and legislative changes.
- Support planning around pricing, duties, and operational compliance.
- Work closely with Finance and Operations to ensure adherence to US tax expectations.
Profile
- Strong experience in US taxation, especially federal tax.
- Alternatively: solid general tax background with strong research capability in US tax.
- Exposure to import/export or cross‑border tax implications is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Able to work independently on a flexible, part‑time schedule.
