1. Carry out consultation on study abroad, as well as international programs in Vietnam and domestic universities for students.

- Develop study abroad, international programs in Vietnam and domestic universities curricula, programming consultation activities/workshops/seminars for students, SOPs, and strategies to improve study abroad outcomes.

- Develop curriculum and provide training to teachers to support career planning and college selection/application processes.

- Work with students and their families to understand the career alternatives available to them as well as the educational alternatives that are accessible.

- Networking with foreign institutions, local universities, and international programs in Vietnam to promote the school and/or deal with individual student cases.

- Managing student records, including guiding students through the application process, helping students manage finances, and providing contact information for local and foreign offices where students can get help if they have problems.

- Helping students secure scholarships or other funding to support their study abroad or well-prepared domestic university life experience.

- Advising students on how to prepare for their transition to university life, including studying foreign languages, researching local culture and customs, and learning about safety issues, etc.

- Performing administration, tracking student admissions outcomes, and reporting university counseling statistics.

2. Carry out career counseling for students.

- Develop a plan to develop career counseling work.

- Develop and conduct surveys to collect more information about career orientation.

- Build information source data to support consultation and career orientation.

- Participate in building career orientation education programs for students.

- Organize and conduct career orientation topics, tests, tours, and career/local university fairs as well as integrate the reflections into CC's major reports.

Job requirements

1. Education: Graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Counseling, or other related fields.

• Priority having Counseling certification (either university counseling or in other counseling fields)

• Priority having Career counseling and orientation knowledge

2. Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in university guidance counseling or related fields;

• Knowledge of university admissions processes and scholarship application procedures, both domestically and internationally.

• Study abroad consultation skills and career development for a range of students in the career planning and college process, both domestically and internationally;

• Experiences of using platforms for study abroad consulting such as Common App (US), OUAC (Canada), UCAS (UK), and Studielink (Netherlands);

• The ability to learn how to write compelling recommendation letters.

*** Preference will be given to those with experience in the education systems of the United States, Canada, Australia, or the United Kingdom.

3. Foreign language: IELTS 7.0 and above preferred

• Being able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;

• Communicating with good listening skills and public presentation skills and receptive to feedback;

• Having good thinking skills (positive, critical, logical, creative) and social-emotional knowledge is a bonus;

• Being a team player and knowing how to resolve conflicts or manage crisis;

• Leveraging digital tools well, especially good at Excel; connection and teamwork skills.
