Purpose of the Role

To deliver public training courses and customized in-house training solutions in alignment with BSI's standards of excellence, while fostering knowledge and skills development for clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver BSI training courses in a way that adds measurable value to customers and their organizations.
  • Inform and update customers on BSI services during training sessions to ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide delegates with insights on how training aligns with their overall journey with BSI, enhancing customer awareness.
  • Deliver exceptional training experiences and maintain professional interactions with customers and stakeholders to strengthen BSI's reputation.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support course development and improvement, aligning with new and existing product development processes.
  • Assist in designing innovative training solutions (e.g., classroom, e-learning, correspondence, mentoring, coaching) to expand the quality and range of offerings.
  • Maintain and enhance professional qualifications in relevant disciplines to stay current in your area of expertise.
  • Proactively collaborate with peers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in training delivery, in line with BSI's standards of excellence.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to deliver training effectively to diverse audiences, from boardroom executives to shop-floor personnel.
  • Understanding of individual learning styles and ability to apply accelerated learning techniques in course design and delivery.
  • Competence in designing and developing training materials to meet specific objectives.
  • Proven organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of training development processes, needs analysis, and evaluation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Qualified Lead Auditor in relevant disciplines (where applicable).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the country and occasionally abroad, including overnight stays.
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license.
