Make a difference as a Trial Specialist
As a Trial Specialist, you play a vital role in transforming breeding concepts into real-world results. You are responsible for organization, registration and evaluation of screening trials of one or more assigned crops at a selected group of representative growers, to enable fast and data-driven decisions on variety advancement. Next to that, you'll be responsible for:
- Execution of a local trial plan.
- Planning and organization of screening trials in cooperation with Breeding including selection of external screening locations and organization of seed samples.
- Administration, collection and evaluation of trial data in Enza Zaden administration systems and formats.
- Responsible for following the relevant protocols of the 3rd parties in order to guarantee local quality and phytosanitary compliance of the trials.
- Timely reporting of results of research and commercial variety trials to various stakeholders within the Commercial and Breeding organization.
What You Bring As a Future Colleague
As a Trial Specialist, you're practical, precise, and passionate about trial management. You enjoy working outdoors, managing trials from start to finish, and turning observations into valuable insights. You're proactive, communicative, and thrive in a role that combines independence with teamwork.
In short, you:
- hold a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related course;
- are experienced and knowledgeable of the assigned crop;
- affinity with crop cultivation and growers;
- Proficient in English language and the local language, Vietnam, both written and verbal;
- communicate clearly;
- are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple trial locations.
