Transportations Senior Specialist

Job Description:

• Coordinate export shipments: receive Sales Orders, check vessel schedules (ETD/ETA), confirm with Sales, and arrange bookings with shipping lines/forwarders
• Manage bookings end-to-end: reserve space, control freight rates, and monitor cut-off, POL/POD, and block codes
• Plan container movements: pickup/drop-off, trucking with 3PL, and alignment with warehouse & delivery plans
• Handle schedule changes (delay/early departure), assess urgency, and take appropriate actions
• Manage Logistics App (booking creation, DEM/DET monitoring)
• Oversee 3PL transporters: evaluate performance, set selection criteria, and ensure service quality
• Coordinate closely with Warehouse for loading, container dispatch, and on-time port delivery
• Optimize transportation plans by balancing export & import flows to reduce costs
• Support import transportation to factory (ongoing setup)
• Handle logistics payment process: invoice control, cost tracking, PR/PO creation, and system entries

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in shipping/logistics (export/import)
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight, booking process, and 3PL management
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and data handling skills
• Familiar with ERP/TMS systems (SAP is a plus)
