Job Description

Salary: Upto 50 Mil

Location: Ha Noi

Job Description

1. Transport Operations

·      Operations Management: Manage the transportation operations process to meet client requirements and KPIs.

·      Planning & Control: Lead the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability, and delivery of projects to ensure that goals and objectives are met within agreed-upon time, scope, budget, and resource requirements.

·      Fleet Management: Lead the development of an effective vehicle fleet management plan. Manage the VANs and drivers, and optimize routing utilization to save costs.

·      Risk & Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate risks (both operationally and commercially), ensure compliance of all submissions to company business policy, and resolve complaints promptly.

2. Transport Solutions & Commercial Support

·      Solution Development: Provide transport solutions and rates for all inquiries. Develop cargo consolidation solutions to optimize space, cost, and efficiency.

·      Trucking Solutions: Conduct and develop solutions for trucking services inclusive of costing models, desired operation flow, facility design, and commercial pricing recommendations.

·      Business Proposals: Prepare business proposals for various transportation models including long-haul, milk-run, short-haul, Cross-Border Transport (CBT), and Cross-Border Road (CBR).

·      Commercial Collaboration: Coordinate with the commercial team in approaching potential clients and present solutions directly to the clients.

3. Key Account & Vendor Management

·      Client Services: Take care of stand-alone trucking services, as well as check and respond to all requirements from clients.

·      Vendor Management: Negotiate pricing with vendors to get the best rate with proper service quality. Evaluate, supervise, and monitor vendors performance.

4. Billing & Costing Management

·      Billing Accuracy: Ensure the billing process is completed on time and accurately for both clients and subcontractors.

·      Contract Compliance: Follow the contract and manage annexes properly.

Required qualifications

·      Bachelor's Degree from a University/College.

Required working experience

·      At least over 10 years of experience in the logistics industry, with preference given to candidates who have worked in freight forwarding companies, including at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position or above in trucking operations. Experience in CBT is an advantage.

·      Management Experience: Demonstrable man-management experience in a similar role.

Required languages

·      Good command of English (C Level).

Required knowledge and skills

·      Knowledge: Good geographical understanding covering towns, roads, and rail networks.

·      Tools: Good computer skills (MS Office) and Data Analytics capabilities.

·      Leadership: Confident and assertive leader, able to manage and resolve conflict. Be able to demonstrate coaching and mentoring skills.

·      Communication: Excellent influencing, clear communication, and administration skills, with the ability to forge effective relationships internally and externally.

·      Problem Solving: Logical thinking, decisive multitasker who can problem solve effectively.

·      Work Attitude: Ability to work and remain calm under pressure, and ability to work unsupervised using own initiative. Excellent customer service and effective resource management skills.
