What you will do
- Translate and localize game content (English<>Vietnamese), including: scripts, character dialogues, interfaces, gameplay instructions, marketing materials, etc.;
- Participate in proofreading and quality control of translations;
- Regularly report progress and work to the direct manager;
- Perform other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related fields;
- At least 3 years of experience as a translator in the game industry or equivalent;
- Proficient in English, especially in game-related terminology;
- Native or near-native fluency in at least one listed language;
- Proficient in CAT tools (SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast, etc.);
- Ability to respond quickly, handle urgent requests, and work under time pressure;
- Meticulous, with research and creative abilities to suit the specific language requirements of the game.
