Overview:
As a Trainee in the Personal Financial Services (PFS) Lending team, you will gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end product management lifecycle. You will support the team in managing real estate project partnerships, monitoring market trends, and enhancing the mortgage customer journey. This is an ideal launch pad for someone looking to build a career in Banking Product Development.
Responsibilities
Project Empanelment Support
- Assist in exploring and gathering data on new real estate projects for empanelment.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the timely renewal of existing empaneled projects in compliance with bank guidelines.
Market Intelligence & Pricing
- Conduct market study (interest rates, schemes, and promos) for a holistic view on developer's offers and competitive advantages of the bank in each project.
- Assist the Line Manager in preparing proposals for mortgage pricing schemes and product adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
Process Improvement & Digitalization
- Support the review of internal lending processes to identify areas for simplification and enhancement of the customer experience.
- Explore and research digital trends to assist in the team's digitalization initiatives.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for data tracking and PowerPoint for presentations).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external partners.
- Good command of English (written and verbal).
- Proactive, can-do attitude, and a strong interest in the mortgage/real estate market.
