POSITION: TRADE MARKETING SPECIALIST (EVENT ACTIVATION) - HANOI
- Work location: Hybrid - Base Hanoi
- Report to: Trade Marketing Supervisor
- Working time: Monday - Friday
POSITION SUMMARY: Trade Marketing Activation Specialist is responsible for executing activation activities in system wide according to the Trade Marketing department's plans. This role requires a hands-on approach, working directly in the field with regional Trade MKT, Operation, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth and effective activation program execution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibility 1: Assist in the Development and Execution of Promotions and Activations
Promotion Support
Assist in the execution of promotional campaigns according to the planned calendar.
Support in forecasting stock, planning merchandising, and coordinating communication
materials.
Activation Execution
Assist in planning and executing brand activations to engage new and existing customers.
Work with agencies and vendors to ensure all activation elements align with brand guidelines
and execution standards.
Event Coordination
Support the setup, coordination, and execution of events and activations at retail locations.
Ensure all necessary materials, logistics, and manpower are arranged for seamless event
execution.
Responsibility 2: Coordination and Operational Efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and agencies to ensure timely execution of
campaigns.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders for smooth implementation of promotional
activities.
Budget and Resource Management
Support the monitoring of promotional budgets and expenses.
Ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget constraints
Responsibility 3: Market and Consumer Insights, Competitor Monitoring
Conduct field visits to gather insights on consumer behavior and market trends.
Monitor competitors promotional and activation strategies and report key findings.
Responsibility 4: Performance Analysis
Performance Analysis Assist in tracking and evaluating the performance of promotions and
activations.
Provide reports with key insights and recommendations for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience:
The candidate should have at least 12 years of experience in Event Activation or Trade Marketing within the FMCG / F&B or relevant industry.
Prior experience executing on-ground event activation programs is required. A strong understanding of store marketing principles and BTL marketing strategies is essential.
Knowledge of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and regional insights within the industry will be considered an advantage.

3. Competencies:
Required competencies include the ability to organize events and execute activation activities at retail locations.
Strong communication skills and the capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as stores, agencies, and suppliers are necessary.
The role requires effective cross-functional collaboration and coordination with external partners/vendors.
The candidate should be able to work independently, demonstrate a hands-on mindset, and be willing to work in the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing software/tools is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English are preferred.
Problem-solving skills are also essential for success in this role.
4. Working Conditions:
This role requires frequent travel across assigned provinces and cities.
