About the OpportunityOn behalf of our client, we are hiring an Operation Executive / Assistant Manager, to support their regional expansion and setup phase. Our client is a leading technology-driven organization with operations across multiple regions, currently establishing a regional travel business with components in inbound tour operations, travel technology, and corporate events.
Joining the team as anOperation Executive / Assistant Manager, you will act as the tactical engine of the office, supporting the senior management in building a robust operational backbone. This is a unique founding team opportunity to help transition the brand from a legacy partnership model to a fully self-operated regional powerhouse.
Key ResponsibilitiesTrip Execution:Manage the direct booking and confirmation of all on-shore services in Vietnam (hotels, luxury transfers, local experiences, and flights) ensuring seamless alignment with cruise schedules.
Supplier Relations:Maintain and nurture daily relations with a diverse network of contractors and vendors, ensuring service delivery meets international 5-star standards.
Field Coordination:Organize and coordinate the assignments of local guides on the ground, acting as the primary point of contact for real-time operational needs.
Reservations Administration:Handle high-volume reservations and administrative tasks with a professional 24-hour turnaround commitment to global B2B partners.
Operational Support:Directly assist leadership with flexible logistics, reporting, and quality assurance for our signature, off-the-beaten-path travel products.
Strategic Growth:Assist in the setup of specialized travel operating systems and contribute to the company's expansion from B2B into the high-margin B2C market.
25 years of proven experience in DMC (Destination Management), Inbound Tour Operations, or Luxury Hospitality.
In-depth understanding of the Vietnamese tourism landscape, including destinations, supplier networks, and local logistics.
Proficiency in travel reservation software, operating platforms, or CRM systems is highly preferred.
Excellent English (MUST) the role involves daily communication with international stakeholders, investors, and regional leadership
Fixer Mindset:Proactive problem-solver who can handle operational crises (e.g., weather-related changes) with calm and efficiency.
Entrepreneurial Spirit:Ambitious and willing to grow from a startup environment into a leadership role as the company scales.
Attention to Detail:High level of accuracy in managing complex multi-supplier bookings.
