Our programs combine Outdoor Education, Experiential Learning, Place-Based Education, Leadership Development, and Adventure Education to help young people build confidence, resilience, teamwork, environmental awareness, and lifelong learning skills.
Position Overview
The School Trip Consultant is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining partnerships with schools while consulting educators on how outdoor learning can support curriculum objectives and student development.
Rather than simply selling trips, this role acts as an educational consultant, helping schools design purposeful learning experiences that align with their academic goals, wellbeing priorities, and school values.
The position combines consultative sales, relationship management, educational design, project coordination, and customer success.
Key Objectives
- Develop long-term partnerships with schools.
- Generate sustainable annual revenue.

- Support program quality and continuous improvement.
Primary ResponsibilitiesA. Business Development
- Identify prospective schools across Viet Nam.
- Build relationships with school leaders and decision-makers.
- Schedule school visits and presentations.
- Attend education conferences and networking events.
- Expand The Mountain Tribe's school partnership network.
- Develop annual business development plans.
- Generate qualified leads through referrals, networking, and digital outreach.
B. Educational Consultation
Meet with school representatives to understand:
- Curriculum
- Learning objectives
- Student age groups
- Teacher expectations
- School culture
- Risk tolerance
- Budget
- Program timing
Recommend suitable programs including:
- School Camps
- Outdoor Education
- Leadership Expeditions
- Service Learning
- Adventure Education
- Environmental Education
- Curriculum-linked Field Studies
Help schools design programs that achieve measurable learning outcomes.
C. Proposal Development
Prepare professional proposals including:
- Learning objectives
- Program schedule
- Activity descriptions
- Safety information
- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Budget
- Learning outcomes
- Assessment methods
- Parent information
Coordinate with Learning Design and Operations teams to ensure proposals are practical and educationally sound.
D. Sales Management
Manage the full sales cycle:
- Lead generation
- Discovery meeting

- Deposit collection

- Post-program follow-up
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts.

Support the marketing team by:
