The Seller Education team designs and delivers projects that empower sellers and internal employees through scalable approaches. Our mission is to equip stakeholders with the knowledge, tools, and capabilities to succeed, ensuring initiatives are impactful, measurable, and aligned with business goals. We work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality education programs, outreach strategies, and capability-building projects.
About the role
We are seeking a senior specialist to design and execute projects that strengthen our knowledge ecosystem, optimize learning impact, and support strategic initiatives. Our goal is to optimize education initiatives for both sellers and internal employees. This role combines analytical thinking, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance how knowledge is created, structured, and utilized across the organization. You will manage projects end-to-end, collaborate with stakeholders across functions, and ensure delivery meets quality, impact, and scalability goals. We're looking for candidates who are analytical, data-driven, and eager to create meaningful impact through insights and execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Seller training:
- Develop and define the training strategy, execution framework, and learning curriculum to build seller capabilities for successful onboarding and growth on TikTok Shop
- Identify business-critical learning needs to deliver the external and internal training roadmap.
- Work closely with internal industry-specific teams and stakeholders, to become a subject matter expert on TikTok Shop Seller operations, and consult with key category stakeholders to deliver effective training programs
- Define and deliver content for internal and external training programs across various mediums, from in-person workshops/programs to training videos and other materials offered via digital curriculums
- Facilitate collaboration and information-sharing among different teams and stakeholders within TikTok and external businesses to provide up-to-date information and developments. Ensure effective knowledge transfer and education evaluation feedback to optimise training programs continuously
- Set up a measurement framework to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of these programs on seller performance
2. Education projects:
- Collaboration with Seller Engagement and relevant stakeholders to deliver TikTok Shop knowledge to sellers in all engagement activities
- Initiate new formats of education activity to maximize sellers comprehension
- Be the key point of contact to leverage external trainers capacity in all formats of training
- Weekly reporting and post-analysis of programs/sentiment monitoring
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- 3+ years experience in planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning content, in both bespoke and highly scalable formats
- Strategic mindset and high curiosity to deeply understand the inner workings of TikTok Shop
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects/training initiatives simultaneously, with a high level of commitment and strong bias to action
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with the latest trends and developments in TikTok and wider social commerce, to provide thought leadership and strategic insights
- Appropriate skills including multimedia and social media platforms and designing tools
- Previous experience in e-commerce marketplaces is a strong plus
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Experience in Ecommerce or Tech organisations is preferred
- Experience working in matrix, and/or global organisations
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker, can-do attitude, and effective in communication
