Lead strategic development of energy systems (thermal and HVAC system); to lead calibrationresources for energy systems; to manage functional development for energy systems; to develop and manage suppliers for the purpose of creating control systems.
- Leading Energy, Thermal & HVAC team
- Lead team to establish Virtual Development Plan (VDVP)
- Set software and hardware requirements for the 1D CAE domain based on the program requirements, by working with the Director CAE.
- Set targets/requirements that guide Vehicle Technical Specification (VTS)
- Energy Management performances 1D analysis: design power system configuration, power systems matching, the proposed motor system, battery systems, reducer and tires, etc.
- Testing & Validation of Simulation Models.
- Assist in the development of subsystem technical specs (SSTS) for energy domain.
- Track, monitor and report Virtual Development Status in Project Gates
- Work with module teams to develop technology plan for PWT and EV energy systems
Requirements
Degree/ Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Energy / Thermal / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering
- Master's degree / Doctorate is a plus
- Background in Energy / Thermal / Performance / Drive Quality Management in Automotive Industry
Experience
- 10+ years minimum of working experience as Performance / Energy / Thermal System Energy Development.
- At least 7+ years of automotive experience in Energy / Thermal / Performance analyses
- Work experience in Global Automotive OEM strongly preferred

Knowledge
- Should be familiar with all aspects of vehicle operation and desirable the basic functions of the major vehicle components and systems.
- Knowledge of energy / thermal / performance / drive quality systems and hybrid and electric vehicle operating principles
- Virtual Development Capability of Performance / Energy / Drive Quality / Thermal Management using 1D CAE analysis tools
- Collecting & preparing input parameters for analyses
- Building suitable simulation models; Results evaluation and optimization
- Strong knowledge in 1D analysis Software like KULI, AVL Cruise, Amesim, GT Suit
