- Perform functional testing and debugging of assembled machines to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical issues in machine systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with the assembly and engineering teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify faults.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
- Document test procedures, failure reports, and recommended solutions.
- Analyze repetitive failure issues and propose process improvements to reduce defects and downtime.
- Support production teams in optimizing machine assembly, testing efficiency, and product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in testing and troubleshooting automation, industrial machinery, or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, PDCA, and other Kaizen tools for continuous improvement.
