Description
- Participate in testing activities for an Automotive Embedded/Middleware system
- Perform testing for functions such as:
+ Device connectivity
+ Bluetooth, CarPlay, and related middleware features
- Analyze requirements and create/update:
+ Test cases
+ Test scenarios
+ Test reports
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing
- Detect, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools
- Work closely with engineers and project members in a multinational environment
- Join knowledge transfer activities(including 23 months onsite training/transfer if required)
- Contribute to building and improving test processes and standards for long-term project maintenance
Requirements
Mandatory
- 23+ years of experience as a Software Tester
- Experience in Embedded systems or Middleware testing is highly preferred
- Ability to:
+ Understand technical documents
+ Write clear and structured test cases
- Willingness to work onsite in China for 23 months during the transfer phase
- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive mindset, and willingness to work on a long-term project
Preferred
- Experience in Automotive projects
- Knowledge of:
+ Bluetooth
+ CarPlay
+ Device connectivity technologies
- Experience working with Japanese or Chinese teams
- Japanese or Chinese communication skills are a plus (not mandatory)
Senior Tester
In addition to the above:
- 4+ years of testing experience
- Experience in:
+ Test leadership or coordination
+ Reviewing test cases and mentoring team members
+ Quickly understand the system and act as a key tester
+ Contribute to test strategy and test process definition
- Long-term commitment and motivation to grow into a Test Leader role
- Knowledge of:
+ Bluetooth
+ CarPlay
+ Device connectivity technologies
- English communication or Japanese communication is required
