Role Description
Lead a QA/Test team (3–7 people depending on the project).
Develop test plans, build test strategies, and create test plans for large-scale projects.
Assign tasks, review test cases and test scenarios for team members.
Perform system testing: Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT support.
Work directly with BAs, Developers, and Project Managers to clarify business requirements.
Participate in requirement analysis and review BRD/SRS documents.
Control product quality before release.
Report on test progress, manage risks, and propose solutions for process improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum 4-5 years of Tester experience, including at least 2 years of experience leading large projects.
Experience testing large-scale systems (Banking, Fintech, ERP, Ecommerce, etc.).
Proficient in SQL (writing complex queries, joining multiple tables, database validation).
Proficient in API testing (Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools).
Strong understanding of software development workflows (Agile/Scrum).
Skills in team management, task allocation, review, and team member training.
Strong logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and under high pressure.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in automation testing is an advantage.
ISTQB certification.
