We are looking for an experienced and proactive Test Lead to join our team and drive quality assurance activities across software projects. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the testing approach, leading the QA team, and ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the test plan and test strategy for assigned projects.
- Lead, manage, and allocate tasks to QA team members effectively.
- Review test viewpoints, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure full coverage and quality.
- Track, manage, and report defects throughout the testing process.
- Provide regular reports on product quality and testing progress to the QC Lead and Manager.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, standards, and team productivity.
Requirements
- 46+ years of experience in Software Testing, with proven experience leading a QA/Test team.
- Strong understanding of STLC and Agile software development methodology.
- Hands-on experience in testing Web, API, and Mobile applications.
- Familiarity with testing and project management tools such as Jira, TestRail/Zephyr, Postman, and Database tools.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage testing activities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in test estimation, risk assessment, and release quality management.
- Ability to mentor team members and drive testing best practices.
