Role Summary
We are looking for a
Test Lead to own the
quality and test strategy of connected vehicle features, including
FOTA, Fleet Management, Remote Control, User Profile, and Remote Diagnostics .
The role requires strong
hands-on testing background combined with
test leadership, quality management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own test strategy, test planning, and quality readiness for connected features
- Lead and coordinate manual testing activities across vehicle, backend, and app
- Review and approve:
- Test cases & test scenarios
- Regression scope
- Test results & release decisions
- Validate end-to-end flows : Vehicle ↔ Backend ↔ App
- Drive OTA quality :
- Pre-OTA / Post-OTA checks
- Regression and rollback validation
- Perform and guide technical debugging using:
- MQTT
- DLT logs
- CAN / CAN FD
- Automotive Ethernet & DoIP
- Lead defect triage , root cause analysis, and risk assessment
- Prepare and present test reports :
- Test progress & coverage
- Defect status & quality metrics
- Go / No-Go recommendations
- Mentor testers and ensure test process compliance
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in automotive / embedded testing
- 2+ years in a Test Lead / Quality Owner role
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Connected vehicle features
- FOTA / OTA systems
- Automotive Ethernet & DoIP
- MQTT , DLT
- CAN / CAN FD
- Solid experience in:
- Test planning & execution
- Test coverage & quality tracking
- Test reporting & release readiness
- Experience testing on vehicle, bench, or HIL
- Strong communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Diagnostic knowledge (UDS, DoIP routing)
- REST API / JSON
- Understanding of EE / Zonal architecture
- Experience working with OEM or Tier-1 processes
