Test Engineer (Python)

Job Description:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time manufacturing issues, performing first-level

debugging and escalating when necessary.

• Drive continuous improvement of First Pass Yield (FPY) and cycle-time (UPH) through root cause

analysis, corrective actions, and process optimization.

• Support the factory in executing the validation of NPI builds and ensuring alignment with defined

engineering specifications and test plans.

• Provide structured feedback and detailed reports to the US teams to improve manufacturing

processes.

• Utilize basic coding (Python, shell scripting, unix-like command line etc.) to assist in debugging test station issues, and device failures.

• Debug test fixtures, including verifying pogo pin alignment and contact reliability, validating harness

and connector integrity, and using standard instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies) to isolate faults.

Required Qualifications:

• BA in Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

• Good command of English, ability to communicate in Chinese is a plus.

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in electronic manufacturing industry (OEM, ODM, JDM, or EMS).

• Basic coding skill (Python, shell scripting, unix-like command line etc.)

• Good understanding and practical experience relating to FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Packing)

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (automative a plus).

• Hands-on comfort with factory-floor debugging and clear communication with both operators and engineers.
