Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the testing and quality assurance organization, ensuring alignment with business and project objectives.
- Plan and allocate testing resources across multiple projects, identify key initiatives, and ensure successful execution of core quality programs.
- Define and drive the testing strategy, methodologies, and quality standards for complex systems and critical software modules.
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of automated testing frameworks, infrastructure, and high-efficiency toolchains to enhance testing coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain end-to-end quality management processes, including quality metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality product releases.
- Act as a technical leader for major projects, providing expert guidance on test architecture, test design, and quality assurance systems.
- Research, evaluate, and introduce advanced testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices; drive internal technical knowledge sharing and capability building.
- Mentor and develop test leaders and managers, build high-performing teams, and define clear career development paths for testing professionals.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including development, product, project management, and customers, to ensure quality objectives are clearly understood and achieved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing, test development, or software development, with strong exposure to complex systems or platform-level products.
- 3+ years of experience in managing test teams of 15+ members, with proven leadership at manager or director level.
- Demonstrated experience owning the end-to-end testing and quality assurance process for large-scale or mission-critical systems.
- Strong technical background in test architecture, automation frameworks, and test methodologies.
- Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills, with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Experience with Android Automotive, in-vehicle infotainment, or cockpit systems testing is a strong plus.
