About the Role
We are looking for a
Test Collaborator to join our
Motor Control Unit /Inverter software testing team. In this role, you will participate in testing embedded software that controls electric drive systemsensuring performance, safety, and reliability of VinFast electric vehicles.
This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain
hands-on experience in inverter and motor control system testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support software testing for Motor Control Unit /Inverter.
- Participate in various software testing levels: unit, integration, functional tests for inverter control functions (torque control, speed control, protection, and diagnostics).
- Assist in analyzing requirements and designing test cases for inverter software features.
- Execute manual and semi-automated test cases under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help set up HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) or bench test environments to validate inverter functionalities.
- Record and report test results, document observed issues, and track bug fixes with the development team.
- Learn and apply automation tools such as Python, CANoe to support regression testing and data analysis.
Requirements
- Student or graduate majoring in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering.
- Basic understanding of motor control principles, embedded systems, or power electronics is a plus.
- Familiarity with C/C++ or Python programming languages.
- Strong interest in electric drive systems and automotive testing.
- Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents in English.
