RHS Job Title Tennis Customer Service Representative Job Description

This position will work at the front desk of the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility. Perform routine clerical support while providing outstanding customer service to all partners and customers, both in person and over the phone. Answer questions, take payments, schedule court time, take registrations for programs, and sell merchandise. Clean lobby areas and men's and women's locker rooms as needed.

Pay Rate: $13.73/hr.

Required Qualifications

Must have transportation to the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility (The Tennis Center is not on the CATA bus route)

  • Be enrolled as a student at Michigan State University (during academic year)
  • Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
  • Available some nights and weekends with reliable transportation
  • Previous clerical experience helpful
  • Flexible schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Phone and customer service experience preferred.

Available to continue working into the summer.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds. Frequent bending and reaching to clean locker rooms, if needed.
