Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist for
a temporary 6-month position. The successful candidate will support our Vietnamese entity
in Da Nang (or Hanoi), as well as affiliates in Singapore, Switzerland, the UK, Dubai, and Uganda primarily. This is a multi-jurisdictional role requiring strong commercial acumen, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work seamlessly across different teams, departments, and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial contracts, corporate matters, compliance, and data protection across Vietnam and international affiliates.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to support business operations and mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese and international regulations.
- Liaise effectively with global stakeholders and act as a bridge between the Vietnamese entity and overseas teams.
- Support cross-border transactions, deal negotiations, and new business initiatives.
- Provide timely legal advice in both Vietnamese and English.
- Collaborate proactively with HR, Finance, Operations, and Senior Management across geographies.
Qualifications
- Law degree is required.
- Having 2-3 years post-qualification experience in legal practice, ideally including exposure to international environments.
- Expertise in commercial law, corporate law, compliance, and data protection.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Demonstrated agility in handling multiple priorities across jurisdictions and time zones.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to apply legal skills in practical business settings.
- High level of initiative, independence, and professional integrity.
- Experience working within or alongside international organizations is desired.
