What you'll do:

Support the customer in system designs and after sales solutions to ensure the performance of the systems operational capability is maximised for its intended use.

Advise the product management/management team/Technical support and R&D on; product issues; Product development providing market specific requirements linked with local certification and market VOC; product standards.

Gain local market understanding within the assigned geographical (Field) region, including benchmarking and voice of customer / voice of the business

Understand the BU product portfolio and lifecycle in line with the central MGPP planning process.

Support customer understand on products for their design offering solutions to complex systems within the portfolio, advise on segment and cross channels solutions

Develop after sales solutions, offer servicing evaluations to ensure the product is working to specification, support in the field installations where knowledge gaps may appear, conduct post installation training of a live system

Analise and compile detailed reports to help resolve complex issues: software/hardware analysis(component level), installation breakdown from environmental/best practice techniques.

Support internal and external stakeholders on all reported technical issues relating to the Fire / Life safety portfolio.

First line response to stakeholders via, Telephone, Email or Business Applications, i.e., Teams.

Qualifications:

  • A proven track record demonstration within the fire industry - commissioning, project management or technical sales with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • The candidate will require extensive knowledge of life safety systems within the regional area, ideally with a proven track record demonstration within commissioning, project management or technical sales with a minimum of 5 years.

Skills:

  • Level 5+ or equivalent desired in electrical engineering discipline
  • Able to demonstrate a very competent level of understand of UL864+217 and EN-54 as a minimum.
  • Knowledge and experience of deploying IP based systems within the Life Safety discipline.
  • Analytical thinking
  • Ethical mind set at all times.
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to coordinate
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good understanding of computers and software packages
  • Work well within a team environment, whilst being able to plan and execute own work initiatives
  • Strong presentation skills
