We are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to comprehensively manage our Technical Service operations, covering installation, testing and commissioning, handover, warranty, maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales technical support, ultimately elevating our service quality and customer satisfaction.
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
To master and manage the entire lifecycle of Technical Services: from project implementation, installation, warranty, and troubleshooting to the expansion of after-sales service packages, aiming to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Team Leadership & Operations
- Plan, allocate personnel, and coordinate engineers for specific projects and service contracts.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards; directly train and elevate the technical team's capabilities.
- Standardize and continuously improve the department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
2. Project Implementation
- Supervise and lead site surveys, installation, testing & commissioning, acceptance, and equipment handover at hospitals.
- Coordinate directly with internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Project Management Board, Contractors, and Manufacturers/Partners) to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet technical standards.
3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Develop periodic maintenance schedules; closely monitor the warranty and repair processes.
- Directly step in to resolve complex technical issues beyond the capacity of junior staff. Perform root-cause analysis and propose preventive solutions.
4. Service Business Development
- Proactively identify the needs of existing customers to consult on solutions such as Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), equipment upgrades, and spare part replacements.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare quotations, close after-sales service contracts, and train customers on optimal equipment operation.
III. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: A strong background in medical device engineering with at least 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years in a Managerial or Team Leader role. Hands-on experience with hospital projects is highly preferred.
- Core Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, sharp project management skills, and a strong customer service mindset.
- Language: Proficient in technical English (capable of communicating directly with international manufacturers and translating technical documents).
- Attitude: Willingness to travel, hands-on readiness for site work, and the ability to thrive under high pressure.
