Position: Pre-sales Technical Support Engineer (Vietnam)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Pre-sales Technical Support Engineer to join our team, based in Hanoi/Bac Ninh and covering clients nationwide (including southern industrial hubs like Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City). You will report to the Vietnam Regional Technical Service Manager and Pre-sales Technical Department Manager, bridging technical expertise and client needs to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales technical support to clients across Vietnam, conducting needs analysis, designing solutions, delivering demos and supporting deal closure.
Perform on-site installation, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure stable client production operations.
Develop Vietnamese technical training materials, deliver localized training, and maintain strong relationships with key Hanoi clients.
Gather product feedback, market demands and competitor insights, relaying them to the domestic R&D and management teams.
Organize and archive application cases & customer data, and participate in local industry exhibitions to promote brand localization.
Keep up with new industrial robot technologies to meet Vietnam's manufacturing automation upgrade needs.
Requirements
Education & Major: College degree or above in Mechatronic Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering or related fields;
Experience: 13 years in industrial automation/robotics; proficient in ABB, Fanuc, Epson, Yamaha robots; cross-regional or local client service experience is a plus.
Technical Skills: Read electrical schematics; operate basic testing tools (multimeter, oscilloscope); basic PLC programming (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi FX/Q series); knowledge of servos/frequency converters is an advantage.
Language: Native Vietnamese, proficient in reading English technical materials, with basic business communication skills, mandarin speaking is a plus.
Soft Skills: Quick learner, customer-oriented, strong communication skills; flexible to travel cross-region and work occasional overtime; responsible, stress-resistant and a team player.
