Position Summary/Primary Purpose of the Position
The IT Technical Operation Specialist is responsible for executing day-to-day technical operations based on defined SOPs and runbooks to ensure stable and reliable IT services.
This role acts as a bridge between Service Desk and Technical Operation Engineers.
Responsibilities
Technical Operation Execution (50%)
- Execute daily operational tasks following approved SOPs and runbooks.
- Perform system health checks, service restarts, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor infrastructure alerts and perform first technical response.
- Execute backup checks, batch jobs, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Support system readiness for store opening and business operation.
Incident Support (25%)
- Handle Level 1.5 / Level 2 incidents according to escalation matrix.
- Provide technical support for recurring and known issues.
- Escalate complex issues to Technical Operation Engineer or higher level with proper analysis.
- Support Incident Manager during major incidents as technical executor.
- Coordinate with stakeholder (infrastructure, application and developer) to solve the incident
Documentation & SOP Maintenance (15%)
- Maintain and update operational runbooks and SOPs.
- Document known issues, workarounds, and operation checklists.
- Ensure operation tasks are standardized and repeatable.
Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Identify operational gaps and risks.
- Propose automation or process improvements.
- Participate in DR testing and routine operation reviews.
Experiences:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Skill System administrator, Network troubleshooting, DevOps
Requirement:
- Strong discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures strictly
- Good documentation mindset
- Willingness to work in shift / on-call model
Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation
- MCSA, CCNA
- Language:ENG or VN
