TECHNICAL LEAD (Golang)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive the development of a large-scale live streaming platform. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend 80% of your time coding and 20% mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.

BACKEND DEVELOPMENT

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services using Golang & TypeScript.
• Build high-performance APIs and real-time communication services with gRPC.

CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE

• Own and optimize core infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage deployment and scaling using Kubernetes (GKE) & Helm.
• Ensure high availability, performance, monitoring, and system reliability.

STREAMING & REAL-TIME

• Design and optimize WebRTC and video streaming solutions.
• Work with audio/video processing pipelines and solve performance bottlenecks.
• Apply low-level optimization using C/C++ when required.

TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP

• Lead and mentor Backend & SRE engineers.
• Drive technical standards, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Work directly with the CEO on technology strategy and key architectural decisions.
  
  

• 7+ years of experience in Backend/Software Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Golang.
• Solid experience with GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, and gRPC.
• Experience with WebRTC, video streaming, or real-time communication systems.
• Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL database design.
• Experience with Linux, Shell, Ansible, CI/CD is a plus.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to mentor senior engineers while maintaining a strong individual coding contribution.
• Experience with C/C++ is a strong advantage.
• Passion for gaming, live streaming, or innovative digital products is a plus.
