1. JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITY
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Technical Director to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and innovation for our growing IT outsourcing business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving technology excellence, solving complex engineering challengesespecially in high-traffic, real-time environmentsand delivering scalable solutions across global projects. Responsibilities:
1. Technical Strategy & Leadership
- Provide technical direction for the development and implementation of game and web applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and scalability. Introduce forward-thinking ideas and innovations to keep the company competitive and technologically advanced.
2. System Design & Architecture
- Architect and guide the development of robust, scalable, and secure systems, especially for high-traffic and real-time applications. Solve complex problems related to scalability, concurrency, performance optimization, and system reliability. Oversee technology stack decisions, tool adoption, and code quality standards.
3. Project Oversight
- Have a strong awareness of cost management and demonstrate the ability to
- manage resources efficiently.
4. Team Development & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor engineering managers, tech leads, and senior developers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Be prepared to take on the role of the bad cop when necessary, ensuring team accountability and progress.
2. MUST HA E SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a technical director.
- Proven track record of architecting and developing large-scale high-traffic, real-time systems, or web platforms, particularly for gaming, e-commerce or fintech industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with offshore teams and outsourced partners in a distributed development environment.
PREFER TO HAVE
Prior experience in the game industry is highly preferred.
