Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate will ensure buildings and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain grounds including landscaping, snow removal, and debris cleanup.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Keep maintenance logs and report completed tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certification (e.g., HVAC certification).
