Charge+ is a fast growing electric vehicle charging network operator expanding across Southeast Asia. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to green mobility by building a reliable, scalable, and high quality EV charging network across Vietnam.
We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Technical Engineer who is eager to work at the intersection of engineering execution, operations excellence, and commercial delivery.
About the Role:
As a Technical Engineer, you will play a critical role in deploying and operating EV charging
infrastructure across Vietnam. You will be responsible for site surveys, electrical design support, installation oversight, and ongoing operation and maintenance of charging stations.
You will work closely with internal sales and operations teams, as well as external contractors and partners, to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
What You'll Do:
Design & Execute:
- Conduct site surveys, electrical load assessments, and technical feasibility studies for EV charging installations.
- Prepare basic electrical designs, layouts, and technical documentation for AC and DC charging systems.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of EV charging stations in compliance with technical and safety standards.
Operations and Maintenance
- Ensure charger uptime through preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and system related issues, coordinating with vendors and contractors when required.
- Monitor system performance and support continuous improvement of operational processes.
Commercial & Sales Support
- Provide technical input, BOQs, and cost estimates during the sales cycle.
- Support client meetings when technical clarification is required.
Report & Scaling:
- Prepare technical reports and lessons learned to support network expansion.
- Support network expansion initiatives and standardization as Charge+ scales across Vietnam.
Requirements:
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in electrical engineering, with exposure to EV charging, solar, industrial power, or MEP systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety and low voltage systems.
- Ability to communicate in English for technical documentation and basic work discussions.
- Willingness to travel within Vietnam for site surveys and project support.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Vietnamese electrical and fire safety standards including TCVN and PCCC.
- Experience working with electrical contractors and on-site project execution.
- Strong problem solving mindset with the ability to propose practical and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
