About Us
We are building a secure, scalable end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) messaging platform with a
hybrid model: a stable core platform plus client-specific customizations. Our goal is strong
security with a smooth, Telegram-level user experience.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the technical direction for our hybrid platform (core + client solutions).
- Define and safeguard the core architecture (encryption engine, sync model, APIs) while
enabling client-specific customizations.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, and security across platforms and
extensions.
- Standardize engineering practices across teams and projects.
- Mentor senior engineers and guide technical leads.
- Collaborate with Business and Product teams to balance technical and business needs.
- Shape the technical roadmap aligned with long-term strategy and client commitments.
- Translate complex systems into clear diagrams and models, and guide teams to verify
these designs through real execution flows.
- Define what technical completion means for each phase, ensuring milestones reflect
true understanding and mastery of the technology.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong system architecture expertise.
- Background in hybrid environments (product + service, platform + customization).
- Solid understanding of modular architecture, API-first design, and scalable backend
systems.
- Experience maintaining architectural consistency across multiple projects.
- Strong foundation in security best practices and performance optimization both are
expected at this level.
- Experience with secure messaging or cryptographic systems is a plus.
- Ability to articulate and validate architecture through diagrams, documentation, and
execution flows.
- Leadership presence and decision-making ability, with cross-functional collaboration
skills.
