Job Summary
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, security teams, data teams, and Agile engineering squads to shape initiatives and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. You will play a key role in driving business improvements, supporting digital transformation projects, analyzing data, standardizing processes, and ensuring that solutions delivered are aligned with business goals and maximize customer value.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, architecture, data teams) to gather requirements and support dashboard development.
- Provide reports and insights to executive leaders.
- Lead business improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Elicit, analyze, and clarify business requirements; standardize processes during business changes.
- Bridge business needs and technical teams by clearly identifying gaps and desired outcomes.
- Create and maintain documentation, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
- Communicate iteration priorities, roadmaps, feature sets, and customer feedback to stakeholders and executives.
- Apply strong business analysis methodologies to ensure aligned and value-driven outcomes.
- Engage with clients to update project status and validate requirements.
- Assess existing processes to identify opportunities for redesign or optimization.
- Support testing activities, including scenario review, test data validation, and defect verification.
- Represent the project team in workshops, presentations, showcases, and related meetings, ensuring decisions are communicated back to engineering teams.
Job Requirements
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Product Owner (open to mid-level candidates with 3+ years).
- Excellent English communication and strong presentation skills.
- Strong project management and transformation capabilities.
- Critical thinking, confidence to speak up, and ability to consult with business stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in business modeling, process flows, technical diagrams, mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Strong elicitation, requirement analysis, and documentation capabilities.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with Product Owners, Solution Designers, and Architects.
- Working knowledge of technical concepts such as UI, APIs, databases, and system integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
- Understanding of UI/UX or user-centered design principles.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with BABOK Knowledge Areas.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Experience in banking or financial services.
- Certifications in BA/PO/UX (e.g., PSPO, CSPO, CBAP).
