ROLE OVERVIEW
The Technical Platform & Channel Manager (SEO hands-on) will be responsible for overseeing the digital infrastructure, tracking ecosystem, and technical SEO strategy for Advant Labs global hospitality clients. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic oversight: managing platform integrations, optimizing site performance and crawl-ability, and ensuring accurate data flow across organic and paid ecosystems.
The ideal candidate is a technical digital specialist with strong expertise in SEO, analytics tracking, and multi-platform integrations (Meta, Google, booking engines, CRM, CMS, MarTech). Beyond SEO as the core, you will serve as the technical backbone of performance marketing, ensuring every platform is connected, measurable, and optimized for business impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Management
- Develop and implement a technical roadmap for client platforms, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Provide strategic guidance on SEO best practices, tracking, and digital infrastructure to align with client business goals.
- Stay ahead of search algorithm changes, platform updates, web technologies, and MarTech trends.
2. Technical SEO Execution
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, and Core Web Vitals issues.
- Optimize site architecture, schema markup, metadata, structured data, and internal linking.
- Manage site migrations, redesigns, and launches to safeguard organic visibility.
- Perform keyword research and opportunity analysis for global source markets.
- Provide technical SEO support and best-practice guidance to client and internal teams.
3. Platform & Ecosystem Management
- Set up, validate, and troubleshoot GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and server-side tagging, including configuring advanced tracking for hospitality booking engines
- Manage integrations across CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoho), booking engines, CMS (WordPress, Webflow), ad platforms (Meta, Google), and analytics tools.
- Oversee and optimize digital infrastructure to ensure stability, security, and cross-platform data integrity.
- Work hands-on with systems (not just via developers) to test, validate, and troubleshoot platform issues.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor SEO performance and platform tracking using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Looker Studio.
- Build and deliver data-driven reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 46 years of experience in technical SEO and/or digital platform management, ideally within an agency environment.
- Deep expertise in technical SEO: site architecture, crawlability, page speed, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, mobile optimization.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, GTM.
- Hands-on knowledge of tracking and attribution modeling across paid and organic platforms.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS (WordPress, Webflow).
- Ability to validate, test, and troubleshoot platforms directly, not just manage at a distance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management, multitasking, and client communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with hospitality, travel, or luxury brands.
