Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.

We are looking for graduates up to 3 years experience are encouraged to apply.

The Technical and Design Promotion Specialist role contributes to the ABB Electrification Smart Building and Smart Power Business in Vietnam. This role focuses on creating qualified project pipeline and enabling Sales teams to win projects. Drive early-stage project influence by engaging consultants, design institutes, developers, and contractors to ensure ABB solutions are specified (design-in) during the design phase. The role focuses on creating qualified project pipeline and enabling Sales teams to win projects.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive design-in and specification activities by engaging consultants, design institutes, developers, MEP contractors, and ecosystem partners to secure ABB solutions in early project stages.

  • Deliver technical enablement through seminars, workshops, training, and the development of technical materials, solution concepts, and value propositions.

  • Support project development and conversion, including technical calculations, system design, solution proposals, and close collaboration with Sales, KAMs, and Capture teams to move projects from concept to tender and order.

  • Develop and strengthen the partner ecosystem, including System Integrators and panel builders, while maintaining strong long-term relationships with key market stakeholders.


Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, fresh graduate up to 3 years experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, building technologies, and solution design.

  • Experience in project selling, tendering processes, and design-in activities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage technical and commercial stakeholders.

  • Proven ability in relationship management, networking, and building long-term partnerships.

  • Strong business and market understanding, particularly in Electrification, Secure Power, or Smart Building environments.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into customer value.
