Role Description The Technical Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The intern will support the technical team in reviewing product specifications, preparing technical documentation, and assisting with drawings, layouts, or system configurations under guidance. Daily tasks may include supporting site visits or project follow-ups, collecting technical data, and helping prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The intern will collaborate closely with engineers and sales teams to provide basic technical support, learn Legrand product portfolios, and contribute to solution proposals. This role offers practical exposure to building infrastructure systems and a structured environment for learning and skill development.
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in electrical, electronics, building services, or related engineering fields.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, product datasheets, and system documentation.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office) and willingness to learn relevant technical tools or CAD software.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Vietnamese language skills strongly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate within cross-functional teams, and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Current student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Building Services, or a related technical discipline.
- Interest in building infrastructure, smart building solutions, and international corporate work environments.
