Role Overview

We are looking for a Tech Sales/Business Development Manager to spearhead our revenue growth in the Southeast Asia (SEA) market. This is a crucial role where you will be responsible for both acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility position, acting as a key player in our regional growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Prospecting: Proactively hunt for and secure new clients by leveraging social channels, cold calling, and your professional network.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire B2B sales cycle from initial contact and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute an effective sales strategy to build a high-quality pipeline and ensure a strong close rate.
  • Client Relationship Management: Lead commercial discussions and build deep relationships with senior client stakeholders, including brand directors, e-commerce leads, and marketing managers.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest market trends, competitor activities, and client developments to effectively position our solutions.
  • Product Promotion: Promote and pitch our solutions at leading industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our product and marketing teams to provide feedback from the field and contribute to our overall business strategy.

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B tech sales, SaaS, or enterprise software, with a strong focus on the Asian or Southeast Asian market.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives, with a strong ability to convert prospects into qualified deals.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Southeast Asian market ecosystem, including key e-commerce platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to a non-technical audience.
  • Strategic Thinker: A proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven individual with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers effectively.
