B-Anywhere is a digital venture incubated inside Bayer, a global Fortune 500 enterprise. We provide AI social commerce solutions for local agri-retailers and advisors across Asia to engage with millions of smallholder farmers. Our platform is live in 3 countries in Southeast Asia and active pilots in other regions. We're looking for a Tech Lead to own engineering delivery and take the product to multi-country scale.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering delivery across in-house engineers and external vendors, covering scope, cadence, quality, and technical trade-offs
- Stay hands-on: write and review production code regularly
- Ensure scale readiness: enterprise standards (security, compliance, data residency) and frontline usability in low-bandwidth markets
- Partner with product and commercial teams to shape the product roadmap and venture vision
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including time as a tech lead or senior engineer owning delivery
- Early-stage startup experience as a co-founder or early employee (highly preferred)
- Strong full-stack capability and modern cloud architecture, with experience in React, TypeScript, ExpressJS, PostgreSQL, AWS, or similar frameworks
- Applied GenAI experience: you've shipped LLM-based features to real users
- Comfortable managing vendors and cross-functional delivery
- Excited about early-stage products, experimentation, and rapid iteration
- Experience working with teams across different countries
